Signing up with PlayStation
Creating a PlayStation®Network Account lets you access online gaming. It also gives you complete access to PlayStation®Store, where you can watch demos for upcoming games and download packs containing everything from new game levels to brand new characters.
You can also access forums and talk to other users about games and events, or even post your own reviews about what you’re playing.
When signing up to PlayStation®Network you will create a PSN Online ID and a PSN Sign In ID. A PSN Online ID is the name other players will know you by when you play online. A PSN Sign-In ID is your email address followed by a password.
This then gives you access to PlayStation®Network, PlayStation®Store and your account details, which are stored on an extremely safe and secure server.
Remember, to stay in control, you need to give us the correct details when you sign up.
