Global vs Regional Gameplay
Regional Gameplay is when you play elements of a game (like LittleBigPlanet™) with other players in your designated region, such as Europe, the United States and Japan. Playing with people in your own regional area reduces the risk of lag, which can spoil the game for everyone.
Lag is when games begin to feel sluggish. Sometimes, due to varying Internet speeds in different regions, some players can’t keep up with others in different regions.
