Our community is made up of people from all over the world, all looking for rich, entertaining experiences. Interaction makes those experiences all the richer, so always respect others when you’re playing online.
Never intimidate, bully or insult your fellow players, online or in-game. Watch out for swearing and vulgar language and if you’re using forums on any of our web communities, don’t post anything that could be deemed gross or offensive.
Be careful about what you upload online. Remember, you are solely responsible for any content you upload to PlayStation sites. Posting personal content could put you in danger - anything that could be libellous or defamatory is not a good idea.
However, we know we can’t guarantee that you’ll get along with everyone you encounter. When you’re on PlayStation®Network, you’ll come across different types of content and behaviour. If anything offends you, your first option will always be to simply click away, leave a game, or mute and ignore the person in question. In extreme cases you can also report the offending content to a moderator by pressing the ‘Post Alert’ button.
